Intersoft Electronics’ patented Vertical Clutter Cancellation (VCC) provides a very deep notch at the elevation pattern of a 'virtual' beam formed from the 'physical' receiver beams of the radar.

This provides cancellation of point clutter sources, such as wind turbines and towers.
Individual elevation notches can be created for individual radar cells over the entire radar coverage.

This Doppler independent clutter cancellation provides an effective mitigation to the degradation in primary radar performance caused by wind turbines and wind farms.
VCC is embodied in the Intersoft Electronics’ Next Generation Signal Processor (NGSP).
